GAYLE LeVANT
Gayle LeVant is recognized as a leading studio harpist in Hollywood. She has recorded with a number of artists including Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Burt Bacharach, The Carpenters, Natalie Cole and Barbra Streisand.
JoANN TUROVSKY

JoAnn Turovsky is principal harp with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Opera Orchestra and Long Beach and Pasadena symphonies, and is a member of the contemporary music ensemble XTET. She has been professor of harp at USC Thornton School of Music for the past 25 years and is on the faculty of the Colburn School of Performing Arts.
Ms. Turovsky has won numerous awards for both her solo and chamber repertoire, including first prize in the American Harp Society National Competition, Young Professional Division, first prize in the Coleman Competition for Chamber Music, prizewinner at the Fifth International Harp Competition in Israel and many local awards from Mu Phi Epsilon, Sigma Alpha Iota, Etude Music Club and Yong Musicians Foundation. She is chair of the American Harp Society National Competition.
Ms. Turovsky appears frequently as soloist throughout California and is active in the motion picture and television industry. John Williams wrote a solo piece for her that was featured in the Angela's Ashes soundtrack and she has performed on soundtracks of Memoirs of a Geisha, War of the Worlds, Minority Report, A.I., Toy Story 1 & 2 and Monsters, Inc., among others.
MARCIA DICKSTEIN

Marcia Dickstein first joined CSULB's applied music faculty fall 1990 semester and returned in the fall 1995. Marcia Dickstein is also an adjunct professor at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Marcia plays with the Los Angeles Music Center Opera and the Long Beach Symphony. She is the founder and artistic director of The Debussy Trio, which has generated a significant interest in the harp, inspiring listening composers to write...
Her solo credits include the Louisville Orchestra, Glendale Symphony, and New West Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of the South Bay, and the Women's Philharmonic, San Francisco. Her film credits include Toy Story, A Bug's Life and Matrix and TV performances for The Jay Leno Show and Star Trek.
