The Usual Suspects

Gio Washington-Wright's Top L.A. Studio Musicians Tribute Site

Due to the HUGE success of the Jerry Hey Tribute Page (by far, the most popular page on this site), I have decided to dedicate another page to him. Without a doubt, Jerry has provided us with some of the greatest musical thrills of our lives. Here are a few more of my favorite Jerry Hey  horn parts - GW... "Ducktales Theme" - Mark Mueller

I always loved the theme to this cartoon growing up. I'm almost certain that this theme is played by Jerry and the Hey horns. The horns have that signature sound (anyone who's followed them knows that "sizzle". No other horn section on the planet sounds like them). Also, the horn arrangement has all of his writing style, including his trademark "stinger" at the end of the short version.
