  Kevin Garren is a Los Angeles based professional woodwind player and educator. Kevin performs on all saxophones, flutes, clarinets, and guitar, but his primary instruments are the Alto and Tenor Saxophones.

Born and raised in Southern California, Kevin began his musical training on guitar when he was 8 years old. He began playing alto saxophone in the band at Hillside Middle School in Simi Valley, and continued in the bands at Royal High School. Kevin went on to briefly study at Berklee College of Music, and then studied at Santa Barbara City College for two years. His saxophone teachers included Eric Marienthal, Bob Sheppard, Sal Lozano, Vince Trombetta, and Samantha Blake. Kevin studied Flute under Jim Walker and Gary Foster.
